As a preconstruction manager, Ebony is integral to the preconstruction process. She works with the preconstruction team to develop an accurate project estimate, performing rigorous scope reviews and quantity take-offs, assessing subcontractor cost information, and evaluating alternate material options. Ebony’s work with projects in various industries and markets has resulted in an extensive knowledge of subcontractor pricing and performance, market conditions, and material escalation.

Ebony received her B.S., Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University and has since worked with Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. Ebony was recognized in the Future Leaders in Construction (FLIC) Class of 2016 by the Alabama chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). She currently serves on both Vulcan Park and Museum Junior Leadership Board and Restoration Academy Junior Board.

Construction is the perfect mix of hands on learning and technicality. Being a part of the cooperative education program in college afforded me the opportunity to explore different career options. I found construction and have not looked back since. Power Up Inc. provides young women with that same opportunity and allows them to develop particular skillsets to thrive in our growing workforce.
